PIR History
It all started with an idea.......
In august of 2018 , 3 friends came together with an idea to start a bmx race team . Kenneth Knott , Antonio Mathis and William Ellis set out to establish their own team . Kenneth already had a few personal sponsors that agreed to take on a few extra riders. Matt at Time2shine , and Sean at Brappstraps agreed to sign on as team sponsors as the team had plans to expand . By year end of 2018 the program grew to 10 talented riders .
Surely growth never stopped as 2019 , we acquired more sponsorship, and more riders . As the season opened up in 2019 , we gained Flow vision goggles , the building distribution and horsepower speed and performance. As the sponsors came, so did team riders . 2019 we rolled out with a 20 rider roster , mostly local talent . But surely as life started to take over for a few of the founding members . It left the whole program to be run by one person . Kenneth Knott took charge of the program , and with his vast knowledge of the bmx industry, current sponsor list , he was able to develop the PIR race team from mid 2019 to what it is today .
2020 ..... the year of Covid19 ...... before the knowledge of this wide spread pandemic, PIR had yet another talented team roster . 20 riders strong ! Showing we were ready for the 2020 season , our home track season opener we had 16 riders of the 20 rostered , 14 of them made mains . Success was sure to be in our hands , but as the global pandemic hit , our race season came to a stop . In a pandemic shortened season , we have had many successes.

2021 showing more growth and bigger successes for the program as we ended the year with a few riders going to grands and almost making mains! We also expanded into 2 other states!

We have had a solid program for 2021 . With USABmx planning the national schedule on the fly , it allowed for big opportunities. We added new riders , added new sponsors and are amped up to see what 2022 brings us !!
